This role is for a Security Engineer with strong expertise in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 security, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure enterprise environments for customers.
The role focuses on strengthening identity and access security, threat detection, system hardening, and compliance across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures. The successful candidate will play a key role in proactively identifying security risks, improving security controls, and ensuring a strong and compliant security posture.

- Assess and enhance the Active Directory security posture, including privileged access management, delegation models, Tiering architecture, and AD hardening
- Design, review, and implement secure Group Policy configurations and identity-related security controls
- Strengthen authentication and identity security mechanisms across on-premises and hybrid environments
- Implement and manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security controls, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Protection
- Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender security solutions, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365
- Conduct security assessments and audits of identity and infrastructure environments to identify risks and vulnerabilities
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents, ensuring timely remediation and escalation when required
- Review existing security configurations and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices
- Support the implementation of Zero Trust security principles, security baselines, and organizational security policies
- Produce clear and structured security reports, documentation, and remediation recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
Professional certifications:
- SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst)
- SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator)
- CISSP or equivalent security certifications
Experience:
3 - 5 years of experience in IT Security, Infrastructure Security, or a related field
Strong knowledge of:
- Active Directory security (privileged access, delegation risks, attack paths)
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID securit
Experience with:
- Security monitoring and logging tools
- Incident analysis
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required)

- Provide first- and second-line technical support for Microsoft-based environments, including Windows workstations and server platforms.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to:
Windows 11 workstations
Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)
Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS and related infrastructure services
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring compliance with security and operational requirements.
- Support identity and access management activities, including user provisioning, account maintenance, and GPO troubleshooting.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and user lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot email and messaging issues, including mail flow, Outlook connectivity, and mailbox access.
- Perform routine system monitoring, health checks, patching, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical specialists to resolve complex incidents and service requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and knowledge base articles in accordance with support processes.
- Deliver a professional customer experience by providing clear, timely, and effective communication throughout the support lifecycle.
- Contribute to continuous service improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending preventive solutions.
Education:
- Microsoft certifications as per below will be an advantage:
- MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)
- MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)
- AZ-800 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator)
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or System Administration
- Proven experience working in Windows-based environments
- Hands-on exposure to Active Directory administration and end-user support
- Experience in troubleshooting technical issues in a customer-facing environment
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required)
Additional technical skills (advantageous):
- Basic PowerShell scripting
